Introduced for the C8 Corvette in 2020, the LT2 builds on the proven LT1 platform with an updated lubrication system, revised intake and exhaust systems and other refinements designed to suit the Corvette’s mid-engine layout. Factory rated at up to 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, the LT2 features a lightweight cast aluminium block, aluminium rectangle port cylinder heads, direct fuel injection, variable valve timing and Active Fuel Management.
